Instruments
The Magnetic Resonance Research Center operates eight different nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometers for liquids analysis ranging in magnetic field strength from 7.05 to 18.8 T, corresponding to proton resonance frequencies of 300 to 800 MHz, respectively. All of the spectrometers are multinuclear and a large variety of probes are available.
Bruker AVANCE III HD 500

- CPMAS-300NB-HX-J3.2 Two-channel magic angle spinning (MAS) NMR probe. Magic angle spinning speeds up to 21 kHz with standard Zirconia rotors or 23 kHz with optional SiN4 rotors at room temperature. High frequency channel tuned to 1H at 300MHz. Observe (X) channel tuning inserts supplied for 31P, 7Li, 11B, 23Na, 27Al, 13C, 79Br, 29Si, 2H, and 15N.
